Welcome to the Desert Super Cup Thanksgiving tournament – the premier event for competitive youth soccer teams across North America this fall! Save the date for the upcoming Thanksgiving tournament and showcase, is scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 1, 2024.

This is not just any soccer event; it’s a RATED SPORTS QUALIFIER EVENT. The group winners from each age category will secure a FREE entry into the Texas Super Cup in Dallas over Memorial Day weekend – visit https://TexasSuperCup.com for more details.

Prepare for an unforgettable experience as all games will be played on immaculate grass fields at three of the finest complexes in the U.S. – the Reach 11 Sports Complex, Scottsdale Sports Complex and Scottsdale Bell94 Park.

WHEN:

November 29 – Dec. 1, 2024

November 29 – December 1, 2024 Competition starts at 9 am on Friday, November 29th, and concludes with Championships on Sunday, December 1st. All games will be finished before 3 pm on Sunday.

Final Deadline Entry Fee (Applications close November 1st)

Payment Options:

Check payment option: Mail check and provide gotsoccer application (with team, gender, and age group noted on the check) should be mailed to:

Credit card payment option: can be made through gotsports – credit card option is an option upon submitting your team application.    ***Entry fee to be sent within 2 weeks of submitting the team application.  Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted.

Note: Teams who are accepted and withdraw from event do not receive a refund.

If the tournament is canceled due to weather or Acts of God, your team entry fee will be transferred to any future upcoming 2023 events.

Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed shortly after the deadline.  Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside the state of Arizona, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application provided the application and payments received before the deadline.

Applications will be accepted from teams affiliated with US Club Soccer, USYSA, AYSO, Canadian Soccer Association and FIFA affiliated youth soccer associations outside of the United States.

Onsite Staff and information

TRAINERS & MEDICAL STAFF: Athletic trainers will be onsite at all facilities.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games with a championship round. Referee fees are included in the registration fee.

FORMAT:
U9/U10 – 7v7
U11/U12 – 9v9
U13 – U19 – 11v11

GUEST PLAYERS:

  • U9-U12: 4 guest players allowed
  • U13-U19: 6 guest players allowed

HOTEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • THIS IS A STAY AND PLAY EVENT FOR TRAVEL TEAMS. All travel teams must use selected hotels provided by Desert Super Cup and follow the stay and play policy. Failure to comply will result in non-participation, with no refund issued. Once accepted and team entry paid, access to book hotels will be provided.

Teams registering after the deadline will be placed on an active waiting list depending on availability.

EVENT VENUE

2022 DESERT SUPER CUP will be played on the most pristine fields in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. Teams that in from across the Nation over Thanksgiving to connect and compete. It is a must attend event for 2023!
